#10: George Nader – The Beginning
George Nader was a fellow actor who emerged in Hollywood around the same time as Rock Hudson. They met in the mid-1950s through overlapping studio circles and quickly struck up a friendship. Unlike many of Hudson’s colleagues, Nader shared his quiet demeanor and distaste for the Hollywood spotlight.
They vacationed together and were often seen laughing at parties, appearing comfortable in a way Hudson rarely allowed himself to be in public. Friends began to suspect their bond went deeper than friendship, though both men were careful to present themselves as nothing more than loyal companions.
