We said the best kind of landlords is the kind you never hear from. Unfortunately for Mat, Alex isn’t that kind of landlord. On the contrary – he’s the kind you hear too much from. Luckily for Mat, it seems like he’s a patient guy, and it certainly requires a lot of patience to deal with this unexpected shower of requests.

While some people wouldn’t appreciate their landlord asking them to do such chores and then checking in on them, Mat doesn’t seem to mind. He was happy to help out and do what his landlord asks, and after all, he’s the one living in the apartment, so it’s in his best interest that the stairs are clean and clear from snow.
